OK, the last several times i have tried to post it keeps coming up content is empty. After retyping several times i end up pissed and give up. Let's hope it works today.

Work has gone nuclear. We have had several employees who were dealing and using drugs incredibly bad. Seriously bad. I did actually try to quit but they talked me into taking a couple weeks off instead and got serious about cleaning house. Unfortunately that means we now have six employees to cover a 24-7 restaurant. So much for the two weeks. It really is'nt very different considering people would'nt show half the time or got so messed up they had to leave. I am considering buying a huge spatula to help pry my ass out of bed every day.

Knitting wise, I haven't accomplished too much. I did do two rounds on the fair isle sweater that is sucking my soul dry. And I did manage to start a pair of socks. I'm doing them both at once on dpn. So far I am almost done with the legs on both. I have two little bags I carry everywhere as that's the only chance to work on them.

The baby has been cutting all her molars at once. When she cut her first 8 teeth she would get a runny nose and two days later she had a new tooth. That was it. Just a runny nose. No cranky crying. No cling to mommy. Well, not this time. If I'm not working I'm wearing that kid. They are finally coming through and I can't tell you how relieved I am.

So that has pretty much my life for the past month. It's driving me crazy I haven't even had time to check my mail or anything. I felt pretty good for a few seconds until I realized most of my mail was spam.  At least I'm attempting to get caught up.

Ok, I haven't fubared the computer but it's still bad. Wouldn't even load windows. At least it's running.

I started knitting again but frogged it. Trying to make a lacy tunic but stopped when I got confused by the pattern. Read the chart right to left on rs and left to right on ws. It's knit in the round so I kinda freaked out lol. I know I'll figure it out. With over two hundred stitches and a messed up computer it's a little too much right now.

Well, on to the thousands of updates that await. Last time it took two days.

Sidework at work:
Refill all condiments, salt/pepper/sugar shakers and napkin holders.
Refill and clean all syrup containers
restock servers fridges (milk creamer, dressings, juices)
refill condiment caddies (jellies, tea, mayo, hot choco, sweet and low)
make sure there are ten salads and enough prep for the next shift to make ten
change eight trash cans
windex all glass
wipe down all stainless steel
sweep and mop the entire restaurant including bathrooms
change the pans the soups are in (3)
clean the coffee makers and all coffee pots (2,6)
refill two coffee grinders
cut two bowls of fresh lemons
refill eight flavored syrup dispensers
clean two coke machines
make fresh sweet and unsweetened teas
clean the back room
clean the dish area and change the dish sanitizer

This work is divided up between the servers and usually doesn't take that long. Unless the other useless piece of crap your working with sneaks out the back early and leaves it all for you. Both nights.
Not only that but ten minutes after cleaning the bathrooms we had a group of six drunk idiots(men) come in. A littl loud but not too bad. Then one of them craps his pants. At the table. While the group found this highly amusing I didn't. Especially since he decided to clean himself up in the mens room i had just cleaned. To be fair they all had visited the mens room and not one of them knew how to aim. They sprayed the whole place paper and all.

I left early.

I did not knit the rest of the day April first. I have not knit  at all since April first. I am bitter beyond words.

The kids were supposed to start their new school yesterday. The bus did not stop. I assume the bus went by, it may have been one of the ones flying down the road so fast we couldn't see the number. One bus did stop and the driver yelled at my kids not to get on, it wasn't their bus. All it took was an angry call to the school and the bus stopped today. Party anyone?

I have been having very frequent bouts of insomnia. Two weeks ago I managed to sleep four hours in 8 days. What amazes me is that I was still a functioning adult at work all weekend. I was able to get more last week but not a whole lot. Last night I finally slept all night. Went to bed at ten thirty, and slept until the alarm. I got the kids off to school, and since the baby was still asleep, went back and slept two more hours. All I want to know is why am I more tired now than I was before I went to bed last night? I slept the sleep of the dead and do not feel refreshed. I know one night doesn't make up for all I have missed but come on. It's eleven in the morning and I can't wait till bedtime. I'm willing it to come faster.

To say the fairies got me is a complete understatement.

I set up my knitting room and wound all my yarn and decided to display some. I choose to put my cascade yarn for the Hermione's magic knitting bag from Charmed Knits out as I planned to knit it as soon as my book reappeared. Well it did, so last week I started the project and made amazing progress. Today I finished it. Right now, as I write, it is in the washer.

Apparently, as I set up my knitting room, and displayed my yarn, the fairies decided to have a fart fest. It didn't dawn on me that I had a whole lot of black yarn. I didn't connect it with the memory of only buying three skeins for the project. It didn't connect untill a few moments ago. As I keep checking the progress of the bag I could'nt seem to comprehend why the bottom of the bag was'nt felting when the rest was. As a matter of fact I kept putting it back in thinking "this is odd". All of a sudden it dawns on me.

I plan to knit my son an illusion  knit scarf using green and BLACK ACRYLIC.
